Rachel Solomon | President & Founder

With a background in Merchandise Buying and Planning, Product Development, and Assortment Strategy for omni-channel luxury retailers (Neiman Marcus) and high-growth DTC brands (including Mizzen+Main, milk + honey), Rachel has cultivated a passion for blending the art and science of assortment strategy and inventory planning.

She launched her Retail Profitability Course in 2019 to empower leaders of growing brands and retailers to understand the theory and calculations behind each key metric used to run a successful retail or DTC business. With this knowledge, her clients have reduced their inventory liability, while improving their margins and forecasting accuracy.

In addition to the course, Rachel has worked with numerous brands (in product categories ranging from menswear to beauty) to increase their profitability and streamline assortment strategy by building templates for revenue and inventory forecasting, improving stock-to-sales ratios, optimizing brand partnerships, and developing merchandising and pricing strategies.
